Port Navyseum at great lakes
NAVYSEUM's home port is in the City of North Chicago, Illinois and encompasses 11-acres at the southwest corner of Sheridan Road and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. The strategic significance of NAVYSEUM's home port is its immediate proximity to Naval Station Great Lakes; an official US Navy installation and home to the only Naval Recruit Training Command (RTC) in the United States. Naval Station Great Lakes is where civilians are transformed to U.S. Enlisted Sailors.

Encompassing approximately 5-acres abutting the St. Johns Riverfront and Bay Street, NAVYSEUM - AEC and the USS ADAMS Museum Ship will serve as the western "anchor" for the 70+ acre riverfront revitalization project spearheaded by Iguana Investments, Jacksonville Jaguars, Jacksonville Downtown Investment Authority, and City of Jacksonville.
Future Locations of Port Navyseum
NAVYSEUM - AEC's universally recognizable theme, highly flexible siting characteristics (e.g. former industrial property, adaptive reuse of existing buildings, incorporation inside existing commercial centers, as part of complementary attractions/destination, and greenfield sites), immense domestic and international scalability (themed to Navy history of the host city or country), and sustainable benefits from re-imaging and re-purposing decommissioned vessels (portions thereof), systems, technology, equipment, and architecture makes NAVYSEUM -AEC's future location possibilities limitless.
